  Cedar Street Synopsis:

Cedar Street, the forgotten neighborhood of a tiny town, sits at the base of forested hills, and near the trail of a bygone railroad.  It is the perfect cover for vagrants and local criminals, who are often seen passing through.  Seven year-old, Jeremiah, lives on Cedar Street, and sadly spends his days hungry and alone in the questionable neighborhood. 

Jeremiah is not only neglected, but he is also the outcast of neighborhood kids, who happen to be all girls. His neighbors, the Peterson sisters, and the Sellar sisters have a formed a new club in the wooded area on the abandoned train tracks nearby, and Jeremiah wants more than anything to be a part of the club.

Every day after school Jeremiah shows up at the club asking to join, and every day the girls give him a new task to complete before they’ll let him in.  Jeremiah continually fails to complete the tasks, and returns unnoticed by all to his empty, filthy, home.

One summer day, after replacing dues money the girls had accused him of stealing, Jeremiah is offered the chance he’s been waiting for.  Jennifer Peterson promises Jeremiah if he is able to sleep in the club overnight, he will not only become a member but he will be the leader. Dying for acceptance, Jeremiah agrees to complete the task.   

Later on, Jeremiah sneaks out of his room, knocks on Jennifer’s bedroom window, and announces he will be sleeping there that night.  However, Jeremiah is not the only one who has decided to sleep there.  When he arrives at the club, he finds a vagrant has already set up camp in the club for the night.  What happens during his stay, unveils a shocking truth to the neighborhood kids, ending their club forming days for good.
